When it comes to employee benefits, "one size fits all" doesn't apply. Turner offers a number of flexible options so you can tailor your benefits to match your needs. It's one reason Turner's benefits plan consistently ranks at the top of its industry.

Our benefits can be divided into two main categories:

Health and Wellness Benefits


Medical, Dental and Vision

Medical (includes prescription drugs, mental health and substance abuse coverage)
Turner offers a choice of several medical plans, including two "traditional" PPO plans and a higher deductible PPO paired with a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA). HMOs and the Out-of-Area plan are offered in special geographical areas. Detailed descriptions of your options will be available during orientation. While you and Turner share the cost.

Dental
The Dental Assistance Program is offered to help you and your family with good dental health. Choose any dentist or use the services of a Preferred Dentist to receive lower rates. Dental coverage is company paid for employees.

Vision
The voluntary Vision Care Plan helps pay for eye examinations, glasses or contact lenses. You may receive care from any provider you choose, but using network providers maximizes your benefit.

Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability

Short Term Disability
Short Term Disability coverage provides salary and benefits continuation when you are unable to work due to medical, mental, or other physical conditions, such as pregnancy.

Long Term Disability coverage provides partial income protection to you and your family should you become totally disabled for more than three months due to illness or injury. Turner provides an automatic benefit of 60% of your annual base pay.

Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

Life Insurance helps protect you and your family's financial security in case of death. In addition to paying a death benefit, Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance also helps protect you and your family in case of a serious injury.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

Turner offers both a Health Care Flexible Spending Account as well as a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, both of which will allow you to set money aside on a before-tax basis, to pay for eligible expenses.

Additional Benefits

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP is a counseling and referral service available to help you and your family with personal issues and concerns 24 hours a day, at no cost to you.

Voluntary Group Legal Plan
Turner offers the Hyatt Legal Services Plan on a voluntary basis, which can provide a broad range of basic legal services to the employee and his/her family.

Paid Time Off
The Paid Time Off benefit includes vacation, sick leave, jury duty, military leave, bereavement, and holiday pay. Vacation pay varies based on years of service and sick leave policies and holiday schedules vary by location.

Wealth Accumulation Benefits

Turner’s Wealth Accumulation program puts you in charge of your future. The key component in building long-term financial security is the Turner Retirement Investment Plan (TRIP). The TRIP is a 401(k) savings plan that includes a company earnings-based contribution and a company matching contribution. You are always 100% vested in your employee contributions to the TRIP. And, you are 100% vested in Turner’s contributions after you complete three years of employment with the company.
