Process Overview
Planning and Development
During the Planning and Development phase, the employee and manager sit down to discuss the upcoming year’s expectations. Using DAS, the manager and employee have the ability to capture notes during the discussion, relevant to each competency, as well as any future development and training needs. |

Performance
During the Performance phase, the Employee and Manager use DAS consecutively to capture performance notes regarding each of the competencies throughout the entire phase. Managers have the ability to view Employee notes. It is recommended Performance notes are captured in order to review during the actual Assessment phase. |

Assessment
During the Assessment phase, the Employee may complete a self-assessment first. Once the self-assessment is complete, the Manager will assess the Employee. After the Manager has completed the Assessment, the appraisal is sent through an approval process. |
| |
During the Review phase, the appraisal is submitted to Dry Run for review and approval by a senior level manager. Once approved, the Manager will first sign the appraisal. After the Manager signs, the Employee will have the ability to review the appraisal. Then, a Face-to-Face Interview takes place and the Employee makes comments and signs. The appraisal is then sent to executive level Senior Management for final review and signature and submission to the archive. |
